ABOUT
With twenty years of experience as a violin teacher, Sarah enjoys working with children and teens of all ages. In her violin studio, she nurtures students with all degrees of experience to hone their craft with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm. A Suzuki certified teacher and member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Sarah has seen her beginning students progress while developing pride and enjoyment in regards to their playing. Her more advanced students benefit by integrating techniques of Ivan Galamian, Carl Flesch, and Josef Gingold, among others.
Sarah specializes in helping students win auditions. Under her guidance, they have secured placements at LaGuardia High School, Special Music School, New York Youth Symphony, and both the Manhattan School of Music and Mannes Preparatory Divisions.
